“Resilience” offers good livability and cruising comfort with a well performing hull and rig combination at a reasonable size that can be handled by two people. She has a distinct look that will turn heads when she enters a harbor and cause you to pause on your trip to shore. Electronics upgrade and Air Conditioning added in 2022.
Accommodations
Tartan sailboats are known for their solid, high quality construction. The interior is oiled teak with white overhead, four Dorade vent boxes, eight opening ports, fore & main cabin deck hatches and a teak and holly cabin sole. “Resilience” has the classic warmth and appeal of a true yacht.
The forward cabin qualifies as the owner’s stateroom with two hanging lockers, a bureau, ample shelf space, separate door closure to a dressing area, and access to the head compartment via private door. A cushion is provided to bridge area between berths, making one large continuous berth when desired.
The double entry head is to port with a Wilcox Crittenden manual head & holding tank (deck discharge is shut off for use on the Great Lakes), stainless steel sink, pressure water, molded counter top, mirror, teak shower grate, cabinet and storage shelves, and opening port w/screen plus a solar vent.
The salon’s starboard settee makes a comfortable single berth with storage behind and pilot berth outboard. The dinette table folds up against the forward bulkhead. There is a wide quarter berth to port. Good light and ventilation are provided by multiple stainless steel Tartan opening ports w/screens, two stainless steel Dorade vents, two stainless steel low profile Dorade vents, screened deck hatches, and the companionway. The interior grab rails make movement below decks safe and secure in a seaway.
The U-shaped galley to starboard has storage galore, double stainless steel sinks on center line with a cold water hand pump, hot and cold pressure water with a 6 gallon, 110v AC/engine heated Seaward hot water heater (2014), a large, 7 cubic foot insulated ice box that has been converted to Frigomatic K50F refrigeration, a gimbaled 3 burner Hillerange propane stove and oven.
The forward facing navigation station is to port in front of the quarter berth. There are additional storage drawers under and cabinet outboard.
